How far can parents go before they are controlling-phone tapping?

It's insane the lengths parents will go to. Unfortunately, in the eys of the court, we have no rights. Our parents could do pretty much anything and they wouldn't care, aslong as they're not abusing us. And even then, aslong as you're not getting full on beat up, some states consider getting slapped around a bit 'discipline'.
