Endearing Pet Name Variations?

Okay, well being the sad specimen that I am, I am a fan fiction writer and I am currently writing a Carlisle/Bella fic called Stumbled (Fanfiction.net- Unfinished Perfection is the pen name if you wanna see) and I am trying my hardest to keep the characters...in character basically. It is such a tiny detail but I am extremely pedantic and I need some endearing name variations. If I read Carlisle Cullen saying the word BABE one more time I think I may have to kill something (Most likely my computer) so I am putting it to you guys.I really dont want Honey, baby, sweetie, darling, honeypie, sweetiepie, love, lovey, babycakes, sweetheart or anything of the sort. I need some victorian era pet/nick/endearing names that I can let Carlisle utter in my story. I work my **** off to make my stories as in character as I can in an AU story and I really cant allow myself to make Carlisle say "Baby". I cant do it. Please, If someone can help I'll be forever grateful and if you're a ff.net user and you give me your penname you'll get a guarenteed shout out in my next chapter. Please if what I'm asking is even possible you will be one of my bestest friends. Lol. Ask your grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, great aunts or uncles, whoever. I'll be so grateful.
