Normal to hear a ringing noise when you clench your teeth?

I have had that for years also. It's called tinnitis. Ringing in ears and even sounding like water in your ears. I tried a medication over the counter I got from a health store, I think it's called ring stop, it seemed to ease up some but it's not completely gone. I think we have been told from our doctors to get used to it because they just don't know how to treat it or understand it. I went to have my ear checked a few yrs back and the doctor said he saw nothing that would cause the noises! He never metioned tinnitis, I read that online. Good luck
