I need help with warhawk the game?

how do you play multiplayer offline. i have a pelican adapter for my ps2 controller so i can use it on my ps3, a madcatz usb wireless controller and a regular sixaxis. do i need all of them to be six axis or what?.dont forget i dont know how to play offline matches
