I saw dead faceless cats and scary wolves in my dream, what do they signify?

In the dream, I was walking round our house and saw headless cats. They were all dead but some were in sitting positions. I think all the cats were black but some could be gray- can't remember. As I kept on walking, At the bend to the front of the house, I came across a wolf. At first, I thought it was a dog because it had a brown colour similar to that of dogs but when it faced me fully, I realized it was huge and had scary teeth, lots of hair and had the features of wolves I've seen in doentaries. I guessed they must have killed the cats but another thing is that there was no blood on the faceless cats, just whitish meaty stuff. I tried to back away but it was about to follow me and I became confused. Then, I remembered something about staring down animals in the eyes to control them. I stood there staring into it's eyes, praying and wishing it to go away and luckily it did. As I was about to quickly run into the house, another one came. It looked like a female. It followed the first male without giving me problems. Then came a third, looking rough and powerful. It stood there watching me and I was very scared. I tried scaring it or something and it made a move as if it was about to attack. I stopped and it also stopped. Then finally, I ran away looking backwards but it didn't follow me. What do all these mean? I'm really confused because I have never even seen a real wolf in my life. I am an african and not scared of cats. I haven't watched any cat or wolf movies lately and I'm not scared of horror movies. Please what do you think my dream means?
